Chapter Awards
Delta Gamma has provided a variety of ways to recognize and honor individual and alumnae group achievements. The following are individual awards with which the members of the Palo Alto Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma have been honored throughout the years. These individuals have demonstrated loyalty and dedication to the Fraternity in their alumnae years.

The Loyalty Award
The Loyalty Award bestows an extraordinary honor upon the alumna who exhibits a lifetime of devotion to the Fraternity at the international, province regional or local level. The recipient must first receive the Cable Award, then demonstrate a minimum of ten years of additional service in advancing the Delta Gamma Philosophy.

Elizabeth Sensabaugh (in red) honored with the Loyalty Award in 2002 on Founders Day. Elizabeth has served the Fraternity for over seventy years, helping to colonize ΒΗ chapter at the University of Texas Austin, and with re-establishing Υ chapter at Stanford University. She served two terms as Alumnae Chapter President, and worked tirelessy at numerous Foundation projects including the Palo Alto Libraries and the Woodside-Atherton Auxilliary to the Children's Hospital at Stanford.

B.J. Sorenson (center) honored with the Loyalty Award in 1999 at the home of Dolores Fuller. One would be hard pressed to find a Delta Gamma more loyal than B.J. She has attended almost every convention! She is a charter member of her ΒΩ chapter and goes to all their reunions. She has written or rewritten the by laws for us over the years. Until she retired to the Sequoias in Portola Valley she just showed up and worked hard at everything this chapter did and all with great cheer.

The Cable Award
The Cable Award recognizes an alumna for personal devotion and continued service to the Fraternity. Each recipient has demonstrated, through years of serving Delta Gamma, unusual loyalty far beyond normal participation. Since Delta Gamma Fraternity Council originated the Cable Award in 1962, the Palo Alto Alumnae Chapter has had 18 of their members receive this honor.

Anne Hohenberger (center back) honored with the Cable Award in 2008 on Founders Day. Anne has served as president of the Palo Alto Chapter and on the House Corp. Board for several local collegiate chapters. Anne was initiated at Beta Eta, University of Texas, Austin and is pictured with other Palo Alto Alumnae members who have been honored with the Cable Award.
